Available Now: Fireworks at Midnight (Witches Night Out 3) By Tara Quan

Fireworks at Midnight (A Witch’s Night Out, 3)
Blurb: Recent college graduate and part-time cat familiar Dulcina “Sweets” Gato is having the worst New Year’s Eve in living memory. End of year expenses trigger serious cash flow problems, and her microwave just went up in smoke. To make matters worse, her best friend’s overprotective big brother is back in town, and his return threatens to put a huge crimper on her nocturnal activities. The only thing she can look forward to is Madame Eve’s 1-Night Stand service. After all, she’s sick and tired of being a 21-year-old virgin.

Enforcement Agent Mikal Knight is a warlock on a mission. Having finally scored a transfer to Washington, D.C., he’s now at liberty to pursue the object of his desires—his baby sister’s best friend. But first, he has a vigilante to track down and a mysterious matchmaking service to investigate. Sent on an undercover operation, he resigns himself to a pointless 1-Night Stand on New Year’s Eve. As luck would have it, his mystery date’s identity might let him kill several birds with one stone.

Excerpt: “Need a boost, Dulcina?”
His continued use of that god-awful name baffled her. Even her parents and sister had switched to calling her Sweets, but this guy couldn’t seem to wrap his mind around the preference. Of course, the three syllables somehow gained a hint of sexiness when he said it in that Southern drawl. The word rolled off his tongue with a lilting musicality that appealed to some traitorous part of her psyche, the unwelcome effect getting on her nerves in a big way.
On top of that, the weird physical reaction she had to his mere presence irritated her. Ever since she’d hit puberty, being within five feet of the boy she’d known all her life—one who’d since grown into a gorgeous twenty-five-year-old man—did weird shit to random body parts. Her cheeks burned, her breath quickened, her palms got sweaty, and her heart rate turned erratic. The smug grin he wore, along with the patronizing tone he’d used, earned her best friend’s half sibling a temporary place on Sweets’ list of least-favorite uninvited guests. “You’re blocking my view.”
He offered his hand. “Of what?”
“Water damage.” Before she could accept his assistance, the empty space between them distorted. Transparent, flickering waves created a blur, as if two realities had shifted out of sync. Frozen in place by the premonition’s onslaught, she watched a version of herself meet his palm with her own. Their fingers twined, and he hoisted her up too fast. When she crashed into his chest, his arms lowered to circle her waist.
He drew her closer. She tilted her head back and parted her lips. A storm brewed in the depths of his almost-black eyes, coloring them with swirls of white and gray. A light furrow formed between his brows, certainty and possession lending his face a dangerous edge.
Alarm bells ringing in her ears, she blinked away the vision and clenched her hands into fists. Keeping them at her sides, she did a full sit-up. Talk about a close call. “Thanks for taking care of the smoke. It even smells nice in here now.”
Lines bracketed the sides of his mouth. He scrutinized her through narrowed eyes, as if he somehow suspected she’d altered their course. “No problem.”

Interviews with Victoria: Blake from Long Overdue by Tara Andrews

Victoria: Today, I have on my couch, Blake from the lovely, 1NS, Long Overdue by Tara Andrews.

I'm a gal that likes whips, chains, spikey things, and breaking the ice. So tell me, what's your favorite sexual position?

Blake: Whoa. *settles back and stretches an arm across the back of the couch*

You don’t hold any punches, do you?

Victoria: I sure don't. *winks*

Blake: *shrugs* Not really many I don’t like, but if we’re talking what turns me on the most? When I’m standing and she’s lying on something in front of me. And if we’re flying, even better. Advantages of owning my own planes.

Victoria: Now that's a club I've never joined, the Mile High variety. While you're sailing the sexual friendly skies do you prefer boxers or briefs? Panties or thongs?

Blake: For me, boxers, of course.  Panties for her. Something soft, like silk. There’s just something seductive in the way they curve around her ass, and there’s more to grab onto when needed.

Victoria: I'm all about the grabbing. Speaking of that, can you please tell me your biggest secret?

Blake: I’m not big on telling secrets. However, since you asked nicely, I will elaborate on something mentioned in the book. I regretted not asking Jill out back in college, but also glad I didn’t because, ten years ago, I don’t think I would have known how to give her everything she deserves.

Victoria: Something you and I have in common Blake, redeeming our past mistakes. I also firmly believe in knowing what you want, as well as how to give. So describe in 3 words your ideal woman or man? Hell, why not both *evil grin*

Blake: My ideal woman is real, honest, and independent.

Victoria: Keeping it simple. I can appreciate that, Blake. You know, my book is called 'What You Need' and I think it speaks for itself. *winks* What do you think about the author's title for your book?

Blake: I have to say, the title Long Overdue couldn’t have been more appropriate for me and Jill. Our relationship was long overdue. I also happen to know, the author relates to title on a personal level since she’d been writing for many years before pursuing writing seriously.

Well, thanks for stopping by Blake. I had a wonderful time. I implore all you readers to take advantage of getting Blake and Jill's story at a great price of 99cents right now. See below for more info on the book and where to buy.

Blurb: Jill Malone has been looking for love for all the wrong reasons. A reality check has her signing up for a no-strings attached night to simply forget about forever after. The last thing she expected was to know her blind date.

Blake Anders doesn’t need help finding a date, but he’s tempted by 1Night Stand’s reputation of arranging exactly what a person needs. And he needs more. Though doubtful, he agrees to one night and hopes to discover his perfect match. He didn’t count on Madame Eve reaching deep into his past to give him a night with the woman he never forgot.

Fearing another broken heart, Jill works to keep herself from becoming attached, but Blake goes all in to convince her that he wants their long-overdue love to be more than a one-night stand…

NEW RELEASE: In From The Cold by Taryn Kincaid

In her latest Sleepy Hollow 1Night Stand Story, Taryn Kincaid is going to bring you In From The Cold

I love the Sleepy Hollow books. From the characters to the steamy love scenes and the fact that Kincaid brings a whole new level of supernatural to paranormal romance. In From The Cold is no exception. Read on and you'll understand.
Spook Raines is a burnt-out spy who doesn’t know he’s a fire demon with a twin in Sleepy Hollow.
Geneviève Mortimer is a will o' the wisp who hunts demons to ease the pain of her troubled past.
When Madame Eve brings them together for a torrid 1Night Stand, will they be able to come in from the cold at last?

Excerpt:
Geneviève Mortimer crept down the quiet hotel hallway, careful to bank her glow…at least for the moment. She’d sensed the presence of a demon on the floor, but something seemed off about the male’s aura. A weird lack of evil, like an impenetrable force field surrounded his consciousness, his psyche. As if he thought he were…human.
Had he been brainwashed? Drugged? Raised by gypsies? By wolves? Wait. No. Scratch that last one. She didn’t get the were vibe at all with this one.
No matter, as a will o’the wisp and a POLO, Protector of the Legion of Shadows, tasked with watching over humankind and keeping the unwary safe from visitors from the demon realms to the human plane, she lured the black-souled to their demise. Going all shine-a-light and sparkly until the evil ones fell under her spell and followed her anywhere. She needed to find this guy. Pounce first, beam a little hypnotic wattage, ask questions later. Take him out before he did any harm. To humans, or innocents like her parents.
She sniffed. Getting warmer. Closer to the demon’s room. What would she find behind his door?
Ignoring the do not disturb sign, she jiggled the handle. Locked. But the absence of a key card wouldn’t be a problem for her, not with her brand of talent and the magick lock picks in her pocket. She got the door open in seconds and slinked into the room, masking her radiance, keeping to the shadows.
Holy shit. The scent of male arousal filled the air. Delicious, decadent, sublime. Total man candy, like nothing she’d ever smelled before. Calling to her sweet tooth. Her horny core. So intense, an ache blossomed between her legs. She closed her eyes and inhaled. Whoa. She could orgasm from the erotic scent of the guy alone. Was the dude going through breedspawn? Were all the rumors she’d heard of the full-on crazy, demon male mating phase more than myth? She’d sure never encountered anything as powerfully sexy as this.
Cripes. This sort of thing never happened to her. I’m a demon hunter, damn it. She remained professional always, despite her ditzy, scatterbrained reputation. Did her job. And did it well. She’d fooled even her closest friends, those who didn’t know about her role as a POLOS and didn’t guess the half of it. Those who thought she slut-flitted around the world searching for mischief, adventure and, most of all, pleasure, like some sort of fickle, commitment-shy, well, yeah sure, okay, will o’the wisp.
